    Job Posting End Date - Applications will no longer be accepted starting Salary: $18.00 Hourly Nature of Work: Assist with the maintenance and cleaning or the Boarder Barn and Children's Farm. This includes cleaning out stalls and animal enclosures, cleaning animal bedding and discarding food waste, feeding animal. Must be comfortable around large horses, large birds, pigs, goats, and other farm animals. Work is performed primarily outdoors and at times in inclement weather. The role requires walking long distances, standing for long periods, working outside in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds, and having a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to read, write, and follow instructions with some experience in the care and feeding farm animals required. High school diploma desired. May be required to work on weekends and holidays. Must pass comprehensive background check and polygraph THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED. Practices efficient use and selection of supplies and equipment. Facilitates budget improvement activities. Maintains radiation safety records of personnel. Ensures that all quality control and state and federal regulations are met. Responsible for the departmental participation in Process Improvement teams inter-departmentally. Participates in the formal teaching aspects of all students in the Cardiovascular Technology Program. Performs Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives, and process flow changes as directed. Establishes and productively assesses and corrects staffing patterns that support excellent customer service. Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures. Maintains a cooperative working environment in the department and corrects personnel inadequacies of skill, knowledge or behaviors. Ensures that all standards of the State of Florida Federal Agencies, Orlando Health Administration or any other regulatory agency are met or exceeded.
