DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain pastures, fences, and farm equipment to ensure a safe and productive work environment. * Operate farm machinery and equipment efficiently and safely. * Prepare and mix animal feed according to specified rations. * Service, repair, and maintain small machinery as needed. * Handle and move livestock, including the use of livestock trailers. * Perform additional job-related duties as assigned to support farm operations. COMPLEXITY/SCOPE OF WORK * Occasional travel to pick up supplies and attend meetings/trainings Work done mostly outside and sometimes in a climate-controlled environment PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT * Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, catching animals, heavy lifting (50 and occasionally up to 75 pounds), reaching over the shoulder and repeated bending.
