You will assist the Design & Merchandising teams and will be exposed to the fundamentals of retail and wholesale businesses. Merchandising Intern Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to develop the seasonal product line that addresses customer needs and specific brand visions. Reviewing selling reports and shopping the competitive retail landscape to identify white space opportunities and bring new product ideas to fruition. Assisting with/ line sheet and sample preparation for customer and licensor meetings Entering specs into our Product Lifestyle Management (PLM) System to keep track of samples, costing, and adoption of new styles. Checking in and organizing development samples from the factories Working with/ International suppliers directly through daily email communication Project Interns will be assigned a group project and a mentor to help provide coaching & support throughout the project. The project will be presented in the final week to various leaders within the organization. The goal is to research and present a solution or recommendation based on white space within the company. This will give interns an opportunity to work with cross-functional departments and individuals across our multiple locations to put together a solution to create a positive change. Tools and Frameworks: Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Airflow, Talend). Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with machine learning and data science workflows. Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards. Certification in cloud platforms or data engineering.
