We have access to all of the Hospital's pediatric subspecialties and their associated physicians. The Department is staffed by board-certified pediatric emergency physicians. In addition to their years of experience in providing pediatric emergency care, our emergency specialists have undergone a minimum of three years of general pediatric training plus an additional two to three years of fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine. Per Diem 364 White Oak Street Nursing Days $24.59 - $41.97 Provides direct and indirect care in the acute care setting. Provides care that reflects Initiative, flexibility, and responsibility. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs. Communicates with physicians/nurse manager/co-workers, as appropriate, about changes in patient's status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with appropriate supervision. Graduate of approved school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred, Associate Degree or Diploma in nursing required. Current licensure as Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Current BCLS required; specialty certification preferred. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English required. Additional languages preferred.
