Duties

Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the overall financial administration for the facility. Partner with facility CEO and other executive team members on preparing the annual facility business plan.
Plan and coordinate functions and activities of assigned departments. Responsibilities include evaluating performance and initiating or recommending personnel actions and maintaining good employee relations with department staff.
Ongoing monitoring of expense structure to identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost reduction.
Actively participate in Board of Trustees, Medical Staff and community meetings.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance or related field required. Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital Administration or Business Administration preferred.
Previous experience as a hospital CFO.
Experience in an integrated health delivery system, strongly preferred.
CPA certification, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Current knowledge of JCAHO, OSHA, state and federal regulatory standards.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate ideas, problems, instructions (written and oral) with corporate management staff, facility management staff and employees.
Ability to analyze situations, evaluate data, recommend, and implement courses of action that would improve the functioning of the company.

Rotate batteries to follow first in first out rule, based on battery age
Collect any used batteries (cores) when needed
Be friendly & develop relationships, address customer issues, educate on new products
Use your outrageously good people skills to increase sales
Use a handheld device to print tickets and input data, as needed
Make sure customer payments are collected, if needed, or they are current on their payment plan.
Perform physical work such as lifting & carrying heavy batteries while delivering batteries at 15-20 stops daily
Safely drive non-CDL trucks 8-10 hours per day (route could be in a city or suburbs, depending on the day)
Become a battery product 'expert'; gain a clear understanding of battery types and customer needs

Alembic Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Market Access professional to serve as our Director of Strategic Account Management. In this role, you will lead engagement with PBMs and national/regional health plans, shaping payer strategy and securing meaningful formulary access for our branded portfolio. You will develop long-range account plans, guide cross-functional alignment, and support disciplined, compliant contracting. This is a high-impact position for someone who excels at navigating payer dynamics, building strong partnerships, and translating account insights into actionable recommendations for the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead strategic relationships and contracting with PBMs and national/regional health plans to secure formulary access for Alembic's products.
Develop multi-year payer account plans, conduct business reviews, and proactively identify opportunities and risks.
Serve as the internal payer expert, partnering cross-functionally to align access strategy with sales, marketing, operations, and patient services.
Support rebate contracting by evaluating contract scenarios, assisting with negotiations, and analyzing financial impact against GTN expectations.
Monitor account performance, formulary changes, and utilization trends, translating insights into recommendations for leadership while ensuring full compliance.
Requirements/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. 5+ years of experience in Market Access, National Accounts, or PBM/payer-facing roles with direct responsibility for national or regional payer accounts. Regular in-office presence as needed for team collaboration and business meetings. Travel ~30-40%.
