KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for shipping and receiving, unloading trucks with a forklift or crane, checking in material, opening bales, crates, and other containers, matching purchase orders to vendor receipts and/or packing slips.
Accurately stock material physically and electronically into proper warehouse bins or racks/shelves.
Read and accurately transact customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for vendor and customer traffic.
Assist in routine cycle counting of inventory which entails weighing and counting items to ensure conformance to company standards.
Record transactional amounts of materials or items received issued via appropriate ERP & Warehouse Management Systems transaction.
Ability to review MTR's and maintain traceability on required material.
Perform 5S activities as assigned.
Sweep, dust, mop, and always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
Document Purchase Orders or Work Orders, Part Numbers, and Projects on all incoming/ outgoing items.
Job requires intense interaction with companies' ERP & Warehouse Management Systems.
Any other duties as assigned by TAS.
JOB SKILLS:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to drive forklift.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

5+ years of ERP experience

5+ years of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Outlook for emails.
2+ years of Inventory Control
Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
Previous experience operating a forklift.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work performed in a shop environment.
Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Verify each route prior to picking to ensure the product accurately fits into the truck. If any adjustments are needed, the warehouse supervisor should be informed before the picking process begins.
Required to strip/sweep out assigned trucks, and hang all hoses to truck wall prior to loading
Ensure proper storing of empty or partial totes, empty drums, and unsuccessful deliveries, into the correct bins, which includes collecting tote caps and securing them to the totes as they are removed from the truck
Responsible for placing all mobile pumps in the designated area, ensuring they are positioned on the provided containment platforms
Accurately pick orders, keeping track/filling out necessary paperwork across systems
Properly build/wrap pallets of packaged goods and drums prior to loading
Accountable for loading totes and connecting hoses following process for all documentation across systems
Load trucks with pallets and necessary mobile pumps needed for scheduled orders
Assist with production needed for required orders
Trash removal prior to end of shift

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Bulk Farm Operations
Logging all drums, pails and totes
Logging incoming bulk transport loads, including identifying oil temperature for correct fill volumes
Logging drum and tote inspections
Logging Batch filling numbers with the correct number of common volume gallons
Retain samples drawn from each transport compartment and kept for six months
Samples retained from drum, pail and tote batches
Scheduling bulk deliveries
Daily drum, pail and tote filling for inventory and truck load request.
Recording all repackaging of bulk product repackaged for inventory purposes
Responsible for Shell's DPQA Process
Picking/Shipping
Pull orders for shipment
Place the material in the staging area; return the ticket to the supervisor
Separate material to shipping points
Load outgoing shipment onto trucks
Receiving
Receive all incoming materials
Unload incoming shipments from trucks
Verify and complete the delivery receipt. Note damaged or shortage on delivery receipt and have driver initial
Complete all receiving paperwork
Stock and stage received materials
Housekeeping
Keep the receiving and shipping areas organized
Organize pallets and other support materials in a safe manner

Role Overview

Position Description:
The Warehouse Assistant will collaborate closely with the Procurement Manager and warehouse team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Perform small construction projects within warehouse
Qualifications:
Must have valid CA driver's license and a clean driving record to allow for driving of company vehicle
Must be able to work on feet all day and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, 100 lbs assisted
Must be able to work as early as 6am every day
Detail-oriented and well organized
