The Opportunity
Randstad is seeking a high-caliber Operational Readiness ProjectManager to lead a critical digital transformation project for a global biotechnology leader in Research Triangle Park. You will be the primary lead for the Data Migration workstream, transitioning manufacturing sites from paper-based batch records to a sophisticated Syncade MES (Electronic Batch Records) system. This is a high-visibility role ensuring that the site is fully prepared to receive, sustain, and thrive within a new digital operational state.
Here's What You'll Do
You will operate within a matrixed team to ensure seamless business process integration and operational sustainability. Key responsibilities include:
Business Process Mapping: Lead the development of current vs. future state process flows using Visio, translating these into actionable operational steps.
Readiness Strategy: Facilitate functional review sessions and lead working groups to establish decisions, actions, and risk mitigations.
Impact Assessment: Lead the development of action items and risks associated with business process mapping and change impact assessments.
Project Oversight: Assist with schedule build-outs, gather weekly status updates, and identify potential schedule risks to keep the workstream on plan.
Documentation & Dashboards: Lead the tracking of documentation updates and generate weekly progress dashboards for various operational elements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Manufacturing Technical Operations (MTO), Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.
What You'll Need (Basic Qualifications)
Education: A 4-year degree in Engineering, Sciences, ProjectManagement, or a related technical field.
Professional Experience: 8+ years of success leading projects or acting in a projectmanagement support capacity.
Industry Expertise: Strong experience with operational and quality assurance functionalities within large-scale drug substance manufacturing is a must.
Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to work within a highly regulated, compliance-driven pharmaceutical setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, Visio, and the MS Office suite.
Project Methodologies: Familiarity with PMBOK or PMI principles to lead project workstreams.
Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, open-office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and EBR (Electronic Batch Records) exposure.

Summary: The Field ProjectManager is responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the project(s) to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Overall planning for construction of the project.
• Managing cost budgets of assigned projects.
• Solicit and obtain bids from subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Issues subcontracts and purchase orders for each project.
• Prepare the job start-up and close-out checklists.
• Secure properly executed subcontract and purchase order agreements, insurance certificates, bonds and other documents as required for protecting the interest of the company.
• Monitor and expedite the delivery of materials.
• Assist the shop to ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with the contract, requirements and specifications and with the required quality.
• Provide weekly job status updates along with project cost tracking.
• Possess working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, and contract with owner, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents, and maintain a complete and accurate set of as-builds.
• Maintaining awareness of all problem areas that arise during projects.
• Coordinate installer teams for all locations in each project.
• Travel to installation sites to oversee the installation of ACM fascia panels and quality check the installation of all installations prior to completion.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Minimum of a 4-year degree (or equivalent experience) in construction and/or construction projectmanagement.
• Experience: Minimum 5-8-year on-site construction management experience, estimating, cost control and/or engineering experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite and Excel.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in a general office environment.
Travel requirement 80% or more with some weekends.

Position Summary
The Capital Equipment ProjectManager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering major equipment installations, upgrades, and facility infrastructure projects across manufacturing operations. This role ensures that capital projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to specification-coordinating efforts across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and external contractors.
The position combines technical expertise with projectmanagement discipline, ensuring that every phase of equipment procurement and installation-from concept through commissioning-meets corporate standards and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Lead the end-to-end management of capital equipment projects, including scope definition, budget development, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
Develop detailed project execution plans (PEPs), including milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
Coordinate design reviews, procurement, fabrication, installation, and startup of new or upgraded manufacturing equipment.

Financial & Contract Management

Manage FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), and commissioning activities.
Ensure equipment documentation, training, and handover to operations are completed accurately.

Serve as the central point of contact for all stakeholders on assigned projects.
Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate progress, risks, and issues to leadership.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sage DM2) and related applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to travel up to 30% to support acquisition integrations and training delivery.

Job Objective: The Manager, Business Systems Training is responsible for developing, administering, and continuously improving a comprehensive training program for RelaDyne's ERP platform, bolt-on applications, and related business processes. This role supports RelaDyne's mission to deliver industry-leading products and services by ensuring employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for successful acquisition integrations and day-to-day operations. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties requested by management.
* Lead the design, development, and delivery of training programs in conjunction with the Director, OCM for ERP systems, bolt-on applications, and business processes to support acquisition integrations and new hire onboarding.
* Responsible for maintaining and leveraging 3rd party training partnerships with the Director, OCM to supplement internal training when necessary.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to select a primary LMS to house training materials and help administer training efforts.
* Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Trainers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable culture.
* Serve as a player-coach, actively participating in training delivery when needed and modeling best practices for the team.
