Responsibilities of this position include tax compliance with respect mostly to state and local tax matters, but also US tax matters. **Principle Responsibilities:** 1. Tax filings for state and local sales and use taxes, motor fuels and other mobile equipment taxes, property tax, and federal excise tax returns. 1. Assist in the audit process from state and local taxing jurisdictions which includes providing computerized data for sample selections, retrieving and reviewing documents, responding to auditor's questions, review and respond to audit work papers. 1. Attend internal meetings to present training on state and local tax matters. Provide guidance to field personnel on tax-related issues. 1. Attend training/development courses as required by Schlumberger policies and enhance knowledge in all tax areas affecting responsibilities. 1.
