    The Program Manager, based in the Accounting department, serves as a strategic partner with the company's internal IT department.     The Enterprise Geospatial Systems Analyst (GIS Analyst) provides support for geospatial systems and processes used throughout our corporate and divisional offices on a daily basis. This position is housed in the IT department and reports to the IT PetroTechnical Applications Manager. Primary responsibilities include installation, configuration, maintenance, training, and documentation of commercial, in-house, and custom GIS processes, services, and workflows. In this role, the Analyst serves as the face of the Enterprise GIS team and is familiar with geospatial data formats and standards, availability and usage of internal datasets, modern web GIS concepts, GIS conventions in the oil and gas industry, relational database concepts and technology, common GIS desktop tools, and general IT practices. The Analyst will be required to adapt and adjust to evolving technology and provide timely technical support to end-users across the company. As part of the support role, responsibilities also include in-person and remote training sessions for GIS users across the company to assure a high return on the investment in GIS infrastructure. This includes speaking and presenting in front of groups of users as well as being proactive about reaching out to users on a regular basis. Although the Analyst will receive regular instruction or direction from senior-level staff, being a self-starter, who identifies opportunities for process improvement and completes projects with minimal direction, will be very beneficial. Routinely, the Analyst will also spearhead small projects related to upgrading and/or enhancing web and desktop GIS software to meet business needs, exploring opportunities for the use of new software products or datasets, or responding to such requests by the business community.
