Ranger College, one of the oldest two-year colleges in Texas, has grown since its modest beginnings and continues to grow by adding new majors, programs and facilities all the time. With the main campus located in Ranger, Texas, Ranger College's geographical coverage is one way in which the school has grown, with additional campus centers in Early and Comanche. Associate's degrees at Ranger College are granted in such fields as English, Speech, Science and Nursing. Adapting to the current needs of our planet and economy, Ranger has even added an associate's degree in Wind Energy. Its workforce education division grants associate's degrees which lead to in-demand careers. These include degrees in Vocational Nursing, Office Technology, Welding, Cosmetology, and Computer Information Technology. Ranger College also offers a dual enrollment program for high school students in more than 20 school districts. Ranger students may also apply to live on campus in residential housing, another of Ranger's relatively newer offerings. Student services at Ranger include workshops in test taking, time management, study and time management skills. Ranger counselors also help students with career planning and educational goals. Financial aid offerings, which include grants and loans, may be discussed with a financial aid counselor.
