The Accounting Senior Manager is responsible for all accounts payable, payroll and employee expenses, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. The Accounting Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Accounting Senior Manager will ensure tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. The Accounting Senior Manager will report to the RMB Corporate Controller. Responsibilities and Duties Manage Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable and general accounting functions; Develop and mentor staff; Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure; Manage accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close; Perform and/or review account reconciliations, monthly journal entries; Ensure internal controls over financial reporting are documented, monitored and adhered to; Collaborates with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives; Support and oversight of the global payroll function including payroll processing and compliance; Payroll and Concur expense processing back-up; Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy; Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions; Responds to inquiries from the business regarding financial results and ad-hoc reporting requests; Support and provide audit and tax requests; Supports budget and forecasting activities as needed; Assist in identification, development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department; Support continuous improvement projects, including system upgrades and implementation projects, financial reporting system generated reporting, and Provide training to new and existing staff as needed. The specialist will learn to troubleshoot devices and associated equipment under the supervision of experienced ECMO personnel, provide ongoing care through surveillance of clinical and physiologic parameters, adjust ECLS devices as needed, administer and document blood products and medications in accordance with hospital standards, provide airway and ventilator management, and perform the full scope of practice of a Respiratory Therapist II. Following physicians orders, prepares and calibrates radio pharmaceuticals and injects patients, using Technetium generator and other radio nuclides, dose calibrator and manual calculations. Sets up and maintains accurate records concerning amount of and types of radioactivity given to patient. Positions patient relative to site specific equipment and adjusts controls as necessary. Is responsible for making sure correct images are done on the computer by giving the correct commands. Brings images to Radiologist for interpretation when completed. Maintains accurate records which conform to N.R.C. regulations. 3. Conducts proper quality control procedures on Radio-pharmaceuticals used as well as proper quality control of function of Gamma Camera and calibrator. Regularly cleans and maintains nuclear medicine equipment, reporting any equipment malfunctions promptly to proper people. 4. Uses proper technique when working with radioactive material to insure minimum exposure to patients, self and others. Does quality control procedures, as required, and maintains proper records. 5. Performs Radiologic examinations and related department duties as requested. 6. Successfully deliver competent care to patients in a continuum of ages from infancy to adult with and emphasis on geriatric patients. 7. Keeps abreast of changes and new developments in Nuclear Medicine service by reviewing journals, attending educational courses, seminars and/or professional meetings. 8. Participates as a member of the Radiation Safety Committee Physical Requirements: 1. Frequent standing, occasional sitting, walking, and lifting 30-35 lbs. 2. Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to operate radiology equipment. 3. Hearing and visual acuity sufficient to perform examinations; observe patients, read monitors and documents, and hear audible equipment alarms. Skills & Abilities: 1.
