All sorts they take advantage of holiday hours, they will mandate all the overtime time, cause they know they won’t have to pay the time & half. They also let you know very very last minute like some of us don’t have plans or things to take care of, kids pets, they take no consideration for you tell them your busy they well tell you they are 10x busier and make it seem like you’re less than. Some employees get away doing nothing all day everyday. Maybe a fraction that you do and somehow they get paid several dollars more than you. Then when they go to give you your raise you’re told the max the company headquarters will approve is 2% MAX !! What be that like30-40¢ a year…… yes I said that right 2% Max.
Don’t necessarily have one maybe the PTO or the gym membership reimbursement,
Their is no leadership most try to set you up for failure, trying to see if you’re going to catch it or not. Management doesn’t know what’s going on all employees are fed up with it and are on their way out. The leads are good but they have the same complaints the entire Ravago workforce has under one roof. Management take favorites
I would greatly improve it. You need to know how to talk to people and listen to their concerns and take action most time hard workers are complaining about the small stuff. I would dedicate certain people to do certain outbound we work everyday. I would have someone to strictly audit orders weather that’s me or another lead. When you give your workers the respect and hand them responsibility they are bound to show out and be more productive then having them check in. I would then fire all the people that get away with the bare minimum the ones that are standing around half the day, docks truck hides for 30+ to go and then hand it off to next shift that already has 2-6 trucks coming back cause first shift refuses to take early appointments
I prepared for the interview by just being myself and telling them what I’m capable of, what my intentions and expectations. Shared a little of my job experience, as that is important you have forklift experience. In the interview they made it sound like a good place to work but unfortunately sometimes things aren’t what they actually are set out to be

The pay rate is low, similar to 2010 annual rate.
