This position is considered a primary contact for internal and external vendors. Enter purchase orders based on firm customer orders and forecasts. Review daily open purchase order reports to ensure ETA's are updated with the most up to date information. Follow up daily on overdue purchase orders and communicate to the necessary parties any delays. Track and trace inbound containers to warehouse, update ETA's accordingly and communicate any delays/issues to Purchasing, Customer Service and Sales Teams. Review containers' status at port, yard, rail, and warehouse to prevent detention and demurrage charges. Collaborate with various members of different departments to ensure that all processes are flowing smoothly including but not exclusive to: purchase orders, work orders, sales orders, imports, exports, transportation, quality, master data, legal, and compliance issues. Analyze and adjust buying patterns and stocking locations to better manage working capital and optimize profitability Coordinate with Transportation/Logistics to acquire the best cost-effective options. Maintain thorough knowledge of assigned product lines in order to promptly provide accurate information. Stock appropriate materials, location, and quantities to avoid stock out situations without exceeding inventory turn standards set forth by management. Balanced rotation of inventory based on sales trends as it compares to current inventory position and ability to replenish the product. Control the movement of products with shelf life to eliminate expiration of inventory lots Process, track and communicate direct containers from overseas to the customer. Monitor sales of these products, and coordinate with sales/customer service in order to avoid expirations.     HOURS: 8:00AM - 4:00 PM PURPOSE OF ROLE: Efficiently and responsibly cut, bag and stack feedstocks into appropriate sizes while minimizing the amount of scrap rubber trimmings before running it through a metal detector and removing any and all contamination. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Operate all guillotine controls. * Cut material to specified sizes/weights and identify groups as outlined on mixing instructions. * Check the metal detector at the beginning of each shift and after lunch period. * Visually check all material while cutting and stacking for any contamination. * Neatly stack cut material appropriately using poly between layers to prevent sticking. * Stack waste skids according to size and stack cardboard neatly to go to cardboard baler. * Check to ensure all containers are cleaned before using. * Check to ensure all old tickets and markings are removed from the containers before using them. * Assist in the timely and thorough cleanup during changeovers and shutdowns. * Keep the area and machinery clean. * Inform Maintenance of any issues or concerns with equipment. * Notify Team Leader of any problems or concerns. * Personal protective equipment (PPE) procedures must be followed. * Safeguard company property. * Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. * Maintain company safety, housekeeping and environmental standards. * Apply the RMA 7S for Success standards to work area and all tasks. * Uphold the RMA Code of Conduct standards. * Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, Quality Manager and Team Leader. Dock Associate (Tier II): * Inspects loading and unloading operations to ensure compliance with shipping and receiving specifications. * Inspects trailers prior to loading and unloading to ensure safe material handling and transport of goods. * Responsible for order accuracy before and during loading. * Performs loading and unloading of packaged goods. * Seals loaded trailers upon request. * Manage cleanliness of docks inside and outside of building. Receiving & Work Orders Associate (Tier III): * Compare vendor, returned material, and Company documents for proper receipt. * Inspect deliveries to ensure they match the order criteria and are undamaged. * Record all inbound goods on the proper receipt reports. * Inspection of inbound and returned materials; Identify contaminations by visual inspections. * Perform necessary segregation and down stacking of damaged product. * Responsible for pulling samples and transport of the samples to the lab for all inbounded product. * Initiate and complete Row Charts. * Generate inventory and shipping labels utilizing Company provided label software. * Manage cleanliness of workstations. * Conduct packaged goods to packaged goods work orders as assigned. * Zone Lead (Tier IV): * Responsible for order accuracy for inbound and outbound shipments. * Generate inventory and shipping labels utilizing Company provided label software. * Assist with training of employees. * Responsible for ensuring all inbound paperwork is accurate and has the correct documentation before submitting to the inventory department for entry. * Accurately and legibly complete warehouse receiver tally sheets, samples, row charts, and Misc. Charge forms. Minimum Qualifications / Education / Certifications * Education: * High school diploma preferred; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Minimum of three years forklift experience. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to round to nearest whole number. * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
