Job Description:
As a CNA, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:
* Administering basic nursing care in accordance with procedures and state/federal regulations, while promoting resident independence.
* Treating residents with respect in accordance with the resident's Bill of Rights.
* Observing and reporting changes in residents to nursing supervisors.
* Documenting provided care in an electronic care tracker.
* Maintaining safety and sanitation standards.
Education and Experience:
* Must be currently enrolled in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
* Post-certification experience is preferred but not required.
* Compassionate style of communicating with residents, families, team members and guests of CKV.

Begin your journey with us as a Nursing Assistant, where you'll gain hands-on experience while preparing for a rewarding career as a CNA! No prior caregiving experience is required.
This is a part-time, temporary position to start, offering 20 hours per week across day and evening shifts. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.
Upon successful completion of the CNA training program, a permanent part-time or full-time evening shift position will be offered. The hours for this role will be 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with an every other weekend and holiday rotation.
About the Role:
In this entry-level position, you'll assist residents with basic daily living activities, providing comfort and companionship while ensuring their well-being. No prior certification or experience is require. We are looking for caring, dedicated individuals eager to make a difference!
After 60-90 days of employment with CKV, eligible team members will have the exciting opportunity to be sponsored by our organization for the next available CNA training course. Upon successful completion of the program, this position would then transition into a part-time or full-time permanent CNA position within our Health Care team!
What You'll Do as a Nursing Assistant:
* Providing daily basic assistance on the nursing neighborhoods including but not limited to
* Making beds and completing linen changes as needed.
* Serving and collecting meal trays
* Assisting with transporting residents to activities, therapy and dining areas within the building and serving as an escort for residents who have off-campus appointments
* Distributing clean linens, personal laundry, fresh water and newspapers
* Assisting with housekeeping tasks as needed.
* Assisting with answering call lights to determine needs of residents
* Foster a welcoming, nurturing environment through meaningful interactions.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure residents receive top-quality care.
* Gain valuable hands-on experience to prepare for CNA certification
Requirements:
* Must be at least 17 years of age
* Must possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to routinely interact with residents, families, team members and visitors.
* Completion of the Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community training for Clinical Services Assistant (C.S.A.) is required.
