If you are looking for a company to Network and move up it’s decent.
The management is terrible. Be prepared to smile and nod and let them speak to you however.
There’s a coffee bar. This place isn’t as fancy as it puts out. The floors creek in corporate because it’s so old and worn down. The employees are miserable but as long as the ones making the big bucks are happy who cares. Belittle the ones down at the bottom. I’d rather work at a low paying job where I’m not Treated like a robot.
The higher ups try very hard to turn a new leaf. The new CEO Mr Shoukry is very reputable. However the 9th floor fellas don’t know a company crumbles when culture turns toxic. The middle man is a piñata.
I would hold leadership to a higher standard and give out better bonuses. Flexibility on office days should be a respectable start. Positive team meetings.
Make sure you last 45 minutes and stay engaged. Prepare three questions. No questions back means no job. Be prepared to discuss challenges in previous jobs with specific times you faced adversity. Don’t give up. My first interview should’ve been a red flag that management is abusive. The Supervisor interviewing told me it was a disservice to nod my head when I didn’t know the material she spoke of. I was nodding to show I was listening and engaged. She spent the next 16 minutes lecturing me on how nothing would be handed to me as if I was an entitled young person that shouldn’t dare apply. The ego is an astonishing thing. I applied to a different department and got a position. Best of luck!
Under paid and over worked
They have token colored people that they use to meet DEI quotas but they treat them like they are less than intellects.
When I’m done throwing up over the stress and misery of this place I can enjoy the beautiful campus as I go home.
Opportunity for growth
Once I began to move up in the company there was an expectation to work above and beyond a forty-five-hour work week. My last year there I worked sixty hours a week for ten months and eighty hours a week for the two super busy months. This led to a lack of work/life balance.
I liked the semiannual bonuses available in my positions.
