The OPM is responsible for supporting the overall manufacturing operations for a large program or suite of programs within a product line portfolio with annual revenue between $10M and $100M. They are expected to oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of ongoing programs and serves as a liaison between program management, project team, and factory management. The OPM will make strategic decisions for the direction of the program related to financial performance and manufacturing plans. The OPM should have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of production including a thorough understanding of manufacturing related policies/procedures/practices, manufacturing quality standards, and DOD requirements. This is an onsite role based at our Largo, FL facility. What You Will Do: Total program life cycle execution from bid/proposal through development/EDM, transition to deliver, production, and depot/sustainment Program planning, capacity analysis, schedule management, resource planning, and manufacturing execution Lead cost/process improvement initiatives Coordinate material management activities with Supply Chain Cost Account Manager (CAM), Estimate at Complete (EAC) development, analysis, and presentation, understanding and use of Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk and opportunity management Interface with both internal and external customers at Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Gates, EACs, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and customer visits/tours Qualifications You Must Have: Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience Typically requires: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
