Collins Aerospace is seeking a SATCOM Technician to work onsite in Israel
Primary Responsibilities:
Selected SATCOM technicians will provide technical services support of a Hardened Transportable MET AN/GSC-52 satellite terminal in Kyogamisaki, Japan. Responsible for operating, maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair of Satellite Terminal systems, including connectivity to local and wide area networks, end-to end telecommunications, circuit switching systems, and Long-Haul communications/Transmissions systems. Analyzes capabilities and performance, identifies problems, takes corrective actions to ensure the most efficient operations of the SATCOM equipment. Monitors status and performance of Transmission/Receive systems. Quickly responds to circuit outages and coordinates with distant end facilities and local Systems/Users, when necessary, in order to restore communications services.
Qualifications/ Experience Needed:
Must have strong skills and background in SATCOM principals, operations, maintenance, and repair, and be skilled in utilizing common SATCOM test equipment
Must understand signal flow and end-to-end configuration diagrams for circuits and have knowledge of Network System Administration
Experience working with Microsoft and LINUX operating system environments/platforms
Familiarity with TACLANE encryption devices, Crypto Device Loaders such as SKLs, and CISCO routers and switches
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
The position requires an IAT Level II 8140 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc. Candidate will be responsible to maintain DoD 8140 certification for the full contract period.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior military satellite communications technician US Navy ET NEC 1465, US Air Force AFSC 2E1X1, US Army MOS 31S/25S, or US Marine Corps MOS 2827
PAAWNS and MET experience, HEMP hardening maintenance and HEMP hardening testing experience.
Strategic and tactical satellite communications experience. CCNA certification.
Basic Linux or RedHat-based server administration experience
Basic experience with operations, preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on generators EBEM experience.

As a Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] at Applied Materials, you serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment. You will:
Assist senior engineers with installing leading-edge customer equipment, performing scheduled preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance, and upgrading equipment
Follow procedures you learn during your training, as well as published task plans, to test equipment and to diagnose and resolve technical problems
Complete required job documentation, safety training and procedures for processing parts
Professionally represent Applied Materials to the customer, using your “customer first” mindset
Satisfy the company's and customer's on-site requirements, including safety, environmental and COVID-19 guidelines
You'll need:
A high school diploma or equivalent
An associate degree in electronics or engineering technologies, or equivalent work experience, or completion of military technical training and field experience

Key Responsibilities
Develops and maintains customer relationship with all relevant individuals in his/her district at all times, at all levels. Performs regular customer visits.
Manages, coaches and directs all customer engineers in his/her district. Responsible for salary planning, career planning, corrective actions where necessary, establishes objectives and performance appraisals. Gives formal updates to all employees. Business, new hires, new products. Can invite any guest speaker.
Initiates reports necessary for the business. Be the prime interface with the Product Divisions: tech support, training, spares, reliability.
Monitors the CSD Award Program with quarterly results (election, announcements). Monitors the “mentor” program so that all new engineers have a defined mentor.
Executes escalation procedure.
Responsible for account planning with District Sales Engineer. Provides support plan for system sales to CSD Management, Sales, Field Engineering. Responsible for financial forecast for his/her district. Responsible for cost efficiency with the district. Measured by the financial result.
Responsible for system installation; planning, reporting and execution, pre-facility meeting, start-up meeting, process support identification.
Manages RMA procedure. Measurement of the engineers on their effectiveness. Manages accuracy, understanding and update of Customer Engineer hours tracking. Personal cross check and signature, measures customer engineers, takes corrective action with customer engineers.

* Strong knowledge of hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters

Our Troy, OH site location has an immediate need for a Multicraft Technician. Safely performing maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair work on complex machine tools and other plant equipment, as well as plant electrical infrastructure and equipment electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3P-11P
What You Will Do
Receive job assignments and special instructions from the supervisor.
Escalate issues such as unresolved repairs, safety concerns, and part availability.
Follow safety standards including electrical safety, Lock-Out/Tag-Out, confined space, and fall protection.
Perform diagnostic, troubleshooting, adjustment, repair, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment up to 480V.
Troubleshoot and repair various equipment including robots, CNC machinery, paint systems, chemical processing lines, shotpeen machines, test equipment, and grinders.
Maintain facility areas in a functional and clean condition.
Update and report on preventive maintenance tasks, noting any issues or improvements needed.
Use test equipment to diagnose maintenance issues.
Build, fabricate, or modify equipment as needed, including welding.
Install and move machinery and equipment as directed.
Operate PIVs like forklifts, golf carts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
Report equipment problems to the supervisor and order necessary materials and parts.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment; clean up after completing tasks or shifts.
Notify the operator/area supervisor and maintenance supervisor upon completing assignments.
Attend training and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.
Retrieve items from the tool crib and complete necessary forms.
Turn in removed parts as required.
Provide detailed updates on completed or in-process work to peers and supervisors.
Maintain and update equipment maintenance documentation.
Inspect tools and equipment before use to ensure safety.
Perform inspections and audits as directed.
Carry out general maintenance activities and other functions based on qualifications. You will be required to perform mathematical calculations requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication or division and pass a pre-employment qualification test.
You will be required to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions, drawings (Electrical & Mechanical), equipment manuals, and other support documentation (process/technical).
You will be required to function well as part of a team or as an individual contributor while providing the required maintenance support to a 24/7 production schedule.
You will be required to perform quality work in a safe and efficient manor while communicating effectively to the operators, supervisors, engineers, etc. with a customer service mindset.
You will be required to perform mathematical calculations requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication or division and pass a pre-employment qualification test.
You will be required to pass a vision assessment once per year, including an initial normal color vision test prior to employment.
You will be required to perform substantial reaching and moving while standing, twisting; stooping; and be response to sounds associated to the work environment.
You will be required to lift to 25 lbs. unassisted, anything over 25 lbs. would be assisted.
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment as required.
You will be required to adhere to all EH&S roles and responsibilities as stated in manufacturing work instructions and EHS policies and procedures.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED
Experience working with technical documents (including any of the following: routings, blueprints, Engineering process specifications, written work instructions.)
Experience in CNC machining, electrical circuits and controls, PLC logic, automation, rigging, fabrication, lubrication, mechanical components and systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and tooling.
Experience with CMMS to receive, complete, and document repairs/PMs/parts used as needed to ensure a complete equipment history and service records.
Experience, in a similar industrial environment that includes high voltage installation and troubleshooting, engineering, or related technical field.
Qualifications We Prefer
Ability to supply own tools or use company provided tools.
Ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities.
Problem solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
