What You Will Do The Electrical Assembly II (Electro-Mechanical Assembler) is responsible for the repair, fabrication, and modification of electrical and mechanical assemblies in accordance with engineering documentation and work instructions. Perform electro-mechanical assembly, repair, and rework of transformers, power supplies, and magnetic assemblies based on supervisor direction and technical documentation. Read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions, written procedures, electromechanical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics. Execute production hand-soldering tasks in accordance with Raytheon and industry standards. Use basic computer systems and internal software tools required for documentation, travelers, and production data entry (training provided through OJT). Assemble, route, connect, and secure electrical and mechanical components using hand tools and measurement devices. Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications. Wear required personal protective equipment and adhere to Raytheon Environmental Health & Safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement efforts. Perform work primarily in a seated position; may also be required to stand, bend, squat, kneel, or climb ladders/step stools as needed. Lift, carry, or move components up to 25 lbs unassisted. This is an onsite, 2nd-shift position supporting depot production operations. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. What You Will Do: Lead all aspects of process engineering for the slurry and melt infiltration processes including development of standard operating procedures, work instructions, quality requirements, raw material specs, process to property relationships and deviations from regulatory requirements. Lead the development of Slurry Infiltration (SI) and Melt Infiltration (MI) processes to produce ceramic matrix composites, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes, digital systems and/or methods of manufacture which are capable of meeting and continue to meet requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time. Support the deployment of the strategy for comprehensive data collection and analysis from slurry and melt that will support robust process development and understanding as part of the digital thread for CMCs. This includes establishing methods for data collection, data analysis and data visualization to enable statistical process control (SPC) Manage the slurry and melt engineering team, ensuring active participation in Integrated Product Teams, compliance with company policies and safety standards, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
