JOB TITLE/LOCATION: CNC Mill Machinist - Mentor, OH Job Summary: Climax Metals (a division of RBC Bearings) is currently looking for a CNC Mill Machinist. The ideal candidate would be able to operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate and load parts into the machine, detect malfunctions in machine operations, and run production lots. Responsibilities: * Perform maintenance, repair and preventive maintenance for facility * Perform typical machine shop operations. * Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee. * Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures. * Perform, but not limited to the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, and sanding. * Perform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results). * Complete and maintain paperwork for parts. * Assist in other work areas, as needed Job Requirements: * High School Diploma or graduation from certified technical school. * Minimum 1 year of related experience with drilling, tapping and milling speeds and feeds in various materials including steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Experience with Haas VF3-APC mills with pallet changers is preferred. * Must be able to setup machine, make program corrections (offsets, etc.) and inspect parts using precision measuring equipment. * Ability to communicate orally and in writing (basic oral instructions, simple written memos and instructions). * Familiarity with Haas controls * Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use math to perform basic calculations, and use basic hand-held measuring tools including but not limited to micrometers, calipers and functional gauges (thread & plug).
