The Decision Science team helps our operating companies solve their most challenging problems and drives decisions with data. As a member, you will be at the center of data and analytics innovation and adoption. In the role of Decision Science Intern, you will help drive value by developing insights and learning the data & analytics landscape in the areas of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Consumer Analytics. You will be collaborating with our team to find thoughtful solutions that embed and promote advanced analytics, machine learning, Generative AI, and foster self-service analytics. As a Decision Science Intern, you will support insight and applied analytics projects by helping translate business questions into analysis, building clear and compelling data stories, and contributing to sustainable analytics solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Support Decision Science / Applied Analytics projects by contributing high-quality analysis, dashboards, reports, and/or ML/GenAI-enabled solutions aligned to business goals.

**Qualifications**
QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)
+ Must be actively pursuing a 4-year degree at an accredited university.
+ Pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in IT, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a similar field of study.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)
+ Coursework, projects, or experience demonstrating a solid grasp of data and analytics concepts (data storytelling, data engineering fundamentals, statistics, or machine learning).
+ Proficiency or prior exposure to SQL; familiarity with Python or another coding language is a plus.
+ Exposure to visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and/or ELT/ETL concepts.
+ Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn; willingness to go the extra mile.

Sensient Colors LLC is looking for a Food Science - R&D Intern. This exciting role will work in our Color Service Lab (CSL) and will provide support for the CSL team Application Scientists. What You'll Do:
Provide assistance with sample preparation for samples sent to customers for evaluation, and assistance with sample preparation to evaluate new raw materials.
Conduct lab trials under the direction of Application Technologists to support application projects.
Conduct trials using pilot plant equipment to support new product development.
Write reports as required to document findings from trials or projects. Participate in all staff meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned. Build and maintain relationships with employees and colleagues in a professional and personable manner adhering to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum status of a junior level and working toward a four-year degree program preferably in Food Science, Chemistry or Biology. A minimum 3.0 overall GPA is required.
Basic lab knowledge and skills are a must. This includes, but is not limited to knowledge and the ability to measure characteristics such as pH, viscosity, solids, etc.
Knowledge of various lab equipment such as a Colorimeter and a Spectrophotometer is a plus.
