Description
The Warehouse Manager Assistant is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records. People management responsibilities include training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.
Responsibilities
Supervising and assisting in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: Filling and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements (technical service, vendors, etc.), ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel, filling work orders from production, packaging assemblies and receiving into designated staging locations, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
Measuring and reporting the performance of the department activities.
Developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks.
Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and workflow.
Interpreting company polices to workers and enforcing safety regulations.
Recommending measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance, and occupational safety.
Continuously improving warehouse operations by meeting the ISO compliances.
Conferring with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments and serving internal customers.

Experience with Class A, commercial, luxury residential, or multi-site buildings
Strong communication, project coordination, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently

EPA 608 certification

What will I be doing?

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $128,700-$153,725. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
