Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Manager to take primary responsibility for the execution of asset-level strategies across a portfolio of multifamily properties. This role will focus on maximizing operational performance, driving value creation initiatives, and overseeing business plans from acquisition through disposition. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of hands-on asset management, deep financial and operational expertise, and the ability to operate as a strategic partner to ownership, property management teams, and capital partners. This individual will be actively involved in all facets of the business, including portfolio strategy, operational oversight, capital improvement execution, reporting to investors and lenders, and select acquisition and disposition activities. Responsibilities
Provide direct oversight and strategic leadership for a portfolio of multifamily assets.
Actively manage third-party property managers and supervise capital improvement programs to ensure execution of asset-level business plans.
Lead the development, execution, and ongoing refinement of asset-level business plans to optimize operational and financial performance.
Review, analyze, and approve monthly and quarterly financial reporting; identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to senior leadership and investors.
Maintain, enhance, and review cash flow projections, valuations, and sensitivity analyses.
Oversee the preparation, analysis, and approval of annual operating budgets and capital plans, ensuring alignment with ownership objectives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for property managers, joint venture partners, LP equity, and lender representatives.
Conduct property site inspections and market research to validate performance and value-add initiatives.
Lead and support acquisition and disposition efforts, including due diligence, underwriting review, transition planning, and execution.
Proactively identify performance issues and risks; develop and implement risk mitigation and corrective action strategies.
Drive accountability with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of operational and financial initiatives.
Manage special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, RealEstate or related subject.
7+ years of relevant realestate asset management experience, with demonstrated responsibility for portfolio-level decision-making.
Ability to communicate complex analyses and recommendations clearly and succinctly to senior management and investors.
Proven experience overseeing multifamily assets, including direct interaction with property management and capital partners.

The Director of Leasing is the strategic and operational leader of Nest DC's leasing program. * Supervises the repair, maintenance, and operation of assigned retail properties, utilizing the services of employees or contractors. Regularly inspects retail properties to ensure that buildings are in good operating order and appearance.
Prepares bid proposals for all outside service contracts per Policies and Procedures. Awards contracts with approval of supervisor. Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Maintain the Asset Management (AM) system of record in FACTS by performing data entry for incoming property, transferred property, lost or destroyed property and excessed property.
* Reconcile physical asset attributes against the Asset Management (AM) system of record and update asset records as directed.
* Assist in the development of property management processes for shipping, receiving, storage and disposition of property.
