Job Description AECOM are seeking a qualified and experienced Transportation Asset Manager to support the development and implementation of Transportation Asset Management Plans (TAMPs) for State Departments of Transportation. This role requires a strong engineering background, deep knowledge of transportation infrastructure, and familiarity with federal asset management requirements under MAP-21 and the FAST Act. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping DOTs manage transportation assets strategically, improve performance outcomes, and ensure long-term sustainability of infrastructure investments. Familiarity with state DOT operations, funding mechanisms, and capital planning Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation asset management, with direct involvement in developing or contributing to TAMPs for state DOTs. Strong understanding of FHWA TAMP requirements and performance-based planning. Proficiency in asset management systems (e.g., AgileAssets, Deighton, AASHTOWare) and engineering analysis tools.
