The SA will assist the sales team administratively and work through RavenTek's Procurement Department for tasks relating to RavenTek vendor relationships. The SA will develop and maintain external customer relationships, work with vendors, and manage sales cycles with the support of the Administrative and Sales team. The SA will assist with all Lines of Business (LOB) including, but not limited to Audio Visual, Podcast Studio, Software Products and Professional Services. The SA may assist with RavenTek's Pod Cast Engineering requirements as needed and requested by Management, supporting both internal and external clients, utilizing RavenTek owned equipment or customer furnished equipment. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities Engage with Sales team on pre-bids, RFQ, and general quoting functions. Assist with pre-award documents as required. Maintain vendor relationships with targeted manufacturers and suppliers. Search Federal project boards for potential opportunities. Work as A/V designer on contracts and task orders as needed. At managements' direction, the SA may assist with Pod Cast studio production, working with RavenTek's Marketing Department on Podcast Studio campaigns. Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period. Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis and respond accordingly. Participate and complete self-guided training as assigned, to include professional and manufacturer certifications. Complete required compliance training as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Minor travel may be required. Knowledge and Critical Skills Strong ability to develop strategic relationships. Excellent Microsoft Office 365 suite skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative setting. Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro X, or Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve. Familiar with Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Audition. Ability to produce podcasts, including audio mixing, mic placement, and lighting design. Knowledge of podcast postproduction tasks including video editing, color-correction, audio editing and sound design, and motion graphics. Understand blueprints, conducting site surveys, and translating customer needs into designs. Good understanding and ability to design AV systems. Education & Work Experience Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field. One year of experience with professional video production and cameras. One year of experience running multi-camera recording setups. Certifications, Licenses CTS, Crestron, Biamp, or other AV certifications. Special Requirements None Work Environment Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis. Physical Demands To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries, and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 20 pounds.
