Responsibilities: · Educating investors on the local housing market · Making sure homebuyers are self-funded or pre-approved for a mortgage · Talking with clients to identify the price, features, and type of property they want · Identifying properties that meet clients' preliminary requirements · Scheduling and attending showings of homes that clients want to look at · Completing comparative analyses to determine estimated values of homes · Taking video and photos of potential rehab work that will be needed to bring the property up to standards · Handling price and other negotiations for clients · Handling buyer-seller communications for clients · Ensuring that all necessary documents are in order for closing · Providing referrals to loan officers, home inspectors, attorneys, etc. when requested Necessary Skills & Qualifications: · Valid Missouri real estate license · Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle · Good verbal and written communication skills · Good interpersonal and negotiating skills · Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite · High ethical standards · Ability to work productively within a team environment · Drive for excellence and growth Preferred Skills & Qualifications: · Demonstrable success as a real estate agent · Familiarity with the MLS database This is a commission-only position.
