The most common race/ethnicity among real property appraisers is White, which makes up 84.2% of all real property appraisers. Comparatively, there are 6.9% of the Hispanic or Latino ethnicity and 4.5% of the Black or African American ethnicity. The majority of real property appraisers are located in GA, Atlanta and GA, Marietta.

Real property appraisers are more likely to work at private companies in comparison to government companies. Taking it a step further, real property appraisers are more likely to find a job in the non profits industry. Looking at real property appraiser statistics, we found was that Alaska, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Washington and New Hampshire are where real property appraisers find the highest salaries.

From where do we know all information about real property appraiser demographics? We analyzed 285 real property appraisers resumes to find out what the average demographics are for the job position. Just to be clear, by demographics we mean the study of population-based factors like age, race, and sex. On top of scouring through resumes, we also took note of job proposals from employers and Census Bureau data. And guess what? We found some pretty interesting information.
