Realty Income is looking for a Real Estate Legal Assistant to join the Legal Sales Team. In this role, the Legal Assistant will work with and assist our in-house paralegals and attorneys in providing timely and quality legal support for negotiated property sales, auction sales, and other disposition activities for Realty Income's national portfolio of properties. This includes interactions with Asset Management, Property Management, Asset Management & Real Estate Operations, and other Realty Income teams on matters relating to preparing the property for sale, obtaining diligence information, assisting with closing and post-closing matters, and supporting a broad range of related legal matters. The Legal Assistant will also frequently interact with outside counsel personnel when utilized to handle sale transactions.
What you will be working on:
Disposition Related Matters:
* Provide assistance and support for property dispositions, including interface and correspondence with RIC team members, outside counsel, title company personnel, brokers, and buyer principals and counsel.
* Help prepare transaction closing documents; help manage transaction calendaring and internal database tracking and management; assistance with document filing and retention; assist in post-close turnover of property to buyer; and numerous peripheral activities and tasks as may be needed to help the sales team understand the property and manage sale issues that are present or arise.
* Prepare first drafts of sale closing documents, tenant correspondence, and other documents related to the property or its disposition.
* Review, locate, organize, and deliver property due diligence information.
* Prepare interdepartmental communications and information requests.
* Assist with the assignment and management of sale transactions.
* Assist with buyer due diligence activities and property access, including interface with property management teams.
* Monitor active files and follow up on matters; help keep internal transactional databases up to date.
* Assist with post-closing file compilation and review.
* Serve as notary public pursuant to regulations for appointment of state of residence.
What you need to be successful:
* We expect 2+ years of relevant professional experience in a legal environment.
* Combination of education, training, experience, skills and other characteristics that would provide the requisite knowledge and abilities in support of the essential job functions.
* Notary Public for state of employment (may be obtained after employment).
* Experience in real estate.
* Strong organizational and administrative skills, including performing duties with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
* Competent in Adobe and Word, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
* Familiarity with Sharepoint and Salesforce databases a plus.

The hourly pay range for this role is $29.23 - $35.88 - $42.39.

The Porter is responsible for maintaining the grounds, curb appeal, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas at one or more properties in to assist preserving the asset and to provide a quality living environment for the residents.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Maintain the cleanliness of the property's exterior areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, courtyards, and landscaping. Including but not limited to sweeping, blowing, picking up trash, pet waste and remove debris from all common areas, ensuring a tidy and well-kept appearance.
Clean and maintain all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, fitness centers, and restrooms. Ensure that common areas are stocked with necessary supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces to maintain a polished appearance.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during duties to the Maintenance Supervisor, Community Manager or General Operations Manager.
Ensure that all trash receptacles on the property are emptied regularly and that the surrounding areas are clean. Assist with the removal of bulk trash items from common areas or around dumpsters and ensure that recycling procedures are followed.
Interact with residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or directing them to the appropriate staff member. Provide assistance to residents when needed, such as helping with carrying items or providing directions around the property.
Perform seasonal tasks, such as snow and ice removal, leaf blowing, or pressure washing exterior surfaces.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing duties, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety hazards or potential risks to the Maintenance Supervisor, Community Manager or General Operations Manager immediately.
Other duties and tasks may be assigned as needed, in addition to those listed above.

Responsibilities:
Provides Index and Reference data to enhance investment decisions and fund oversight.
Completes complex daily and ad hoc tasks while working under tight deadlines, managing competing priorities, and analyzing multiple inputs to meet operational objectives. Acts as a point of escalation for complex portfolio and index methodology related issues.
Provides oversight of all the teams activities to ensure accurate and timely service delivery, as needed. Analyzes and resolves complex data issues supporting the portfolio management process.
Proactively identifies and leads process enhancement initiatives to gain efficiency and improve quality of data and service. Recognizes and resolves roadblocks to maximize team impacts. Reviews and performs root cause analysis of data errors and provides short-term and long-term solutions.
Cultivates and maintains strong strategic relationships with key partners. Partners across the global fund ecosystem to resolve operational and service issues. Leverages and strengthens the Finance and IMG-wide network to accelerate complex issue resolution and improve quality. Partners with external data vendors and industry contacts to enable best-in-class data management practices.
Strong industry-wide knowledge of the investment data management landscape and end-to-end knowledge of assigned data domain required for success.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree (Accounting/Finance preferred) or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree or CFA (completed or in progress) preferred.
Minimum of five years relevant work experience
Demonstrated ability to analyze issues independently and take appropriate action with minimal supervision, especially in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
Previous experience in Index Management and Index Provider Relationships, with a solid understanding of the industry and financial products.
Excellent analytical capabilities and judgment, with the ability to quickly grasp current and emerging policies, practices, and trends impacting the Data Management organization.
