80% in a warehouse enclosed setting, some outdoor activity when receiving or distributing between buildings. 20% in a lab setting while maintaining proper PPE when delivering materials. Exposure to -20c freezer rooms, 4c -8c cold rooms, fumes, and chemicals. Equipment used for this job setting is an OSHA approved industrial forklift, Electric pallet jacks, and push carts. Physical task will be pushing, lifting, bending, walking, reaching, climbing stairs.

Responsible for all incoming shipments regarding inspection of packages, unpacking, verifying counts and checking materials into SAP, as well as delivering to Logistics Room. Adhere to all established procedures such as Clean Room Requirements, Work Instructions, Safety Procedures, and the Employee Handbook.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Visually inspect all incoming packages looking for any possible damage to outside carton.
If damage is found, proper protocol is to be followed (i.e., refusing acceptance of package, making note of it on carriers paper or electronic record of the shipment).
Verify all parts received utilizing the SAP System. Perform goods receipt function (matching purchase order number, reviewing items listed on the packing lists and verify correct quantities).
Unpacking material and prepare material to be transported to Logistics Room. Work closely with the Purchasing Department and the MRP Controllers regarding purchase orders and incoming shipments.
Coordinate any receiving problems encountered with appropriate Purchasing & MRP Controller team members.
Backup for Warehouse / Packer Associate and Shipping activities. Overtime including Saturdays may be necessary to support business needs and requirements.
The ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, pass forklift safety training class.
Working conditions - The employee will be primarily working on the Shipping & Receiving Dock and in the Warehouse.
There may be periods of time that the employee will need to go into a clean room environment and will be required to follow all Clean Room practices and procedures.
