As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will send, inspect and record outgoing products. Work with DC to load packages and check their contents to ensure they match the orders.

* Sends shipments and creates paperwork for outgoing deliveries.

* Labels shipments prior to loading.
* Trains new teammates in shipping department.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* 4 or more years' experience in a shipping department.

Penske Marion FDC 4847 is looking for a Big Board Operator/ Shipping and Receiving Clerk to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. Provides support to full time team members in warehouse functions. Works closely with Operations Supervisors and Team Leads to ensure facility customer service and productivity expectations are met. Provides a variety of responsibilities to keep the team moving forward toward an appreciative and positive work environment.
Major Responsibilities:
Processing Inbound and Outbound shipments in the warehouse
Control the flow of work to meet departure and receiving times
Resolve discrepancies with inventory as well as Inbound/Outbound shipments
Interact with warehouse associates and trouble shoot issues
Assist with daily and weekly reports
Jointly work with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metrics
Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements
Other projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 year of shipping/receiving experience required
1 year of customer service experience preferred
WMS experience preferred
Smartsheet experience preferred
Strong computer and mathematical skills required
Frequent interaction with warehouse workers with daily tasks, good interpersonal skills required
Multi-tasking required, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
