ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Classroom Instruction Support: Monitor student activities (i.e., drill, practice, and research) after lessons and instructions have been given by teacher. Administer and monitor tests and other assessment instruments as assigned. Maintain classroom discipline in the absence of the teacher, complete appropriate misconduct forms, and/or report behavior to the teacher or principal. Produce teaching aids and other classroom materials as directed by the teacher. Collect, assemble, catalog, and distribute resource materials. Distribute and account for textbook and other miscellaneous equipment. Operate audio-visual equipment. Maintain records, files, and supplies. Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly classroom environment. Accompany students on field trips. Monitor and guide students during emergency drills. Assist students with course assignments. * General Duties: Prepare correspondence and reports. Responsible for maintaining department supplies. Provide daily direction to student assistants and district volunteers. Compensation:
$20.50 hourly + benefits
Responsibilities:
Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests' needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
Mitigate customer complaints as needed
Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information
Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready
Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information
Qualifications:
Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills
Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
At least one year of experience with the Opera PMS system.
