Responsibilities
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
Remove violators or trespassers from the area
Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations
Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
Provide assistance to people in need
Act as a temporary deterrent before arrival of authorities
Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
Qualifications
Proven experience as a security officer or guard
Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
Familiarity with report writing
Excellent surveillance and observation skills
Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
Registered as a security officer
High School diploma is required

Position Overview
We're seeking a Cleared Armed Security Officer to join our elite team in Columbus, Ohio , providing world-class data center security solutions that safeguard client assets from global threats. You'll serve as the first line of defense-protecting people, property, and sensitive information-while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and operational readiness. This position reports to the PGI Site Manager.
The Cleared Armed Security Officer will be responsible for the following:
The Cleared Armed Security Officer will develop, maintain, and continuously improve knowledge of written and oral post orders, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
Prevent all unauthorized access by enforcing all Client and PGI policies, including implementing and enforcing badging policies, controlling physical locks and keys, and inspecting persons and equipment.
Provide security protection for all Client and PGI personnel and property within the assigned area of responsibility.
Report or respond to incidents, security, and safety concerns per established post orders, including responding to alarms.
Monitor security cameras and other electronic surveillance systems.
Guide, follow, and direct individuals throughout the Site.
Assist in controlling physical and electronic locks and unlocking and locking doors and areas.
The Cleared Armed Security Officer will perform testing and other inspection services related to access control, including routine inspections, and testing of alarms, locks, doors, monitoring systems, and other access control mechanisms.
Prevent the theft of physical or intellectual property.
Assist in promoting communication and awareness of data center security policies to client employees, vendors, contractors, and others.
The Cleared Armed Security Officer will maintain standards of Armed Security Officer competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity, including compliance with PGI and the Client's Code of Conduct and Uniform Policy
Execute and deliver various reports assigned by the Site Manager
Complete and maintain pre-assignment, client, State, and PGI sustainment training as directed.
Assist in collateral duties, including but not limited to armory and security equipment maintenance tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a High School diploma or GED.
A minimum of one (1) year of security, or one year of local, state, or federal law enforcement experience; or a minimum of two (2) years of honorable military service, active or reserve, in any branch of the US Armed Forces
A minimum of 21 years of age
Ability to complete an Ohio Security Guard License, including the application process, fingerprints, and background investigation.
Ability to complete a firearms training course in compliance with the Ohio Security Guard License and conduct regularly scheduled sustainment training.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must fluently speak, read, comprehend, and write in English.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and periodic random drug screening.

About the Position:
As a Security Officer, you will ensure a positive customer experience by ensuring a safe and secure environment for all. You are responsible for addressing disruptive or offensive behavior, unsafe conditions, and minimizing theft of library property.

What You'll Do:
Patrols buildings and grounds at regular intervals and appropriately handles observed irregularities or problems. Prevents theft of Library property and follows all issued post orders.
Uses non-violent crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to diplomatically confront people engaged in disruptive, offensive or inappropriate behavior; suspends from property as necessary.
Ensures a positive customer experience by greeting customers, answering directional questions and participating in organization-wide initiatives/special events.
Responds to, investigates, and reports any safety hazard, security incident, parking enforcement or emergency, including reviewing CCTV footage as needed.
Ensures that the building is secure at closing and that all staff and customers depart safely. Completes issued closing checklist daily.
Maintains a professional appearance by keeping uniform in good condition and promptly reporting uniform needs to Security management.
Carries all necessary equipment in working order while on duty and promptly reports equipment needs to Security management.
Collaborates with law enforcement on public safety issues. Files police reports and appears in court as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
1-3 years of relevant customer service or security experience or training required.
Ability to utilize reliable transportation to promptly report to job assignment and other locations, per job requirements. Valid driver license may be required based on branch location which meets the minimum requirements of CML's vehicle insurance policy and access to a personal vehicle to promptly report to varied work locations as assigned.
Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing.

About the Position:
As a Security Officer with Cologix you will be responsible for providing a physical layer of security at all Cologix locations. Security Officers are responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to the safety and security of Cologix employees, guests and facilities.
What you do daily:
* Verifies the identities of employees, customers and visitors entering and exiting the facility.
* Monitors all interior and exterior cameras. Immediately addresses any policy infractions, emergency situations or suspicious activity.
* Controls the access of permitted visitors and provides them with temporary access (visitor badges). Denies individuals who do not meet the entry criteria.
* Keeps an accurate log of all visitors/vendors that have gained entry to the facility by using the PeopleTracker system.
* Responsible for conducting numerous physical security checks per shift. Personnel will patrol the interior and exterior of their assigned building looking for unsecured doors/windows, signs of tampering and any unauthorized individuals. All checks will be documented and will include any findings.
* Monitors entry access and fire systems for all pertinent alarms and responds accordingly.
* Notifies the proper local authorities (police department, fire department, rapid response) in the event of an emergency situation.
* Acts as a first responder in the event of a medical emergency.
* Performs shipping and receiving duties using defined process.
* Responds to job tickets, cases and emails within the security department in a timely manner.

Job DescriptionClinic Front Desk - Orthopedic Foot & Ankle FULL TIME: Monday - Friday 6:30-3:00 or 7:00-3:30 Department: Clinic Support Staff Location: Worthington, Dublin Responsible To: Clinic Front Desk Manager Responsible for all check in and check out functions of medical front desk on a rotating basis, answering phones, scheduling appointments, physician messages, scheduling testing, pre-certification and medical records management.
Position Responsibilities/Standards:
General
Attend department, clinic or company meetings as required
Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns

Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.
Attend required annual in-service programs.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures. Adheres to established facility safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Identifies potentially unsafe situations and notifies supervisor.
Specific Duties
Meet and greet patients promptly, in a professional and courteous manner.
Obtain patient information during office hours.
Provide patients with required paperwork - H&P, Financial Policy, Patient Information Sheet, FROI for Worker's Compensation patients.
Obtain copies of patients insurance cards, MCO identification cards
Verify patient insurance coverage is current and correct at each visit
Review patient label and chart contents for completeness and accuracy.
Accurately Scan insurance cards including front and back
Input patient information and register patient as needed.
Schedule appointments (new, follow-up, reschedule) per physician protocol.
Obtain referrals-check Carriers on line.
Schedule appointments to other specialists as needed.
Pre-certify & schedule outpatient testing, pre-certify physical therapy as needed
Collect co-pays, co-insurance and self pay amounts at time of service.
Answer phones within 3 rings (" Orthopedics Foot & Ankle this is _____, how may I help you?”)
Handle all calls in a professional manner and direct to the proper individual.
Check voicemail every hour
Run schedules, request charts, check in patients and print encounter forms.
Communication with physicians and clinical support staff.
All messages must be addressed after the end of the day.
All patient information will be entered into the system by the end of the day at a 90% or higher accuracy rate.
Make every effort to accommodate patient, according to physician protocol, when scheduling appointments.
Reconcile all charts to kept appointments and return at the end of day to appropriate charge entry staff
OFA Incoming Fax and BAKO distribution and scanning of documents into charts and Physician PAQs
Submit, Manage and Oversee Medical Records Requests through third party system up to 2 days a week
Run and resolve Eligibility and Benefits for OFA Worthington location schedule at 3, 2 and 1 day out from Patient's appointment
Miscellaneous Administrative duties as needed by Patient Services Manager
Additional Duties
Travel to other locations as necessary.
Confirm and/or reschedule appointments when needed.
Messages - physician, staff, Rx, off work/return to work/school notes as needed
Filing as needed - within 24 hours
Additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Education/Experience Required:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be friendly, courteous and have good communication skills when greeting patients.
Previous experience working in a busy clinic or physician office is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements for the position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects.
Must be able to climb, pull, push and kneel.
Maximum unassisted lift = 25 lbs.
