What You'll Do Evaluate patients and develop individualized therapeutic recreation plans Lead and facilitate recreational activities that restore, enhance, and reinforce cognitive, emotional, and physical abilities Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams to achieve shared goals Educate patients and families on the benefits of therapeutic recreation in daily life Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with department standards Prioritize safety, dignity, and holistic wellness in all aspects of care. What You Bring Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from an accredited program Required Certifications & Credentials: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) (Must have or obtain certification within 6 months of hire) CPR certification (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting Strong time management, communication, and team collaboration skills High ethical and professional standards with a growth-oriented mindset Why Join Us?
