These positions assist in the operation of the Fraze Pavilion ticket office and Fanfare store. Examples of Duties (Illustrative Only): Provides outstanding customer service; Sells all tickets and gift certificates for Fraze events from computerized system (training available); Sells artist and Fraze-branded merchandise; Reconciles daily sales; Answers phones and general questions pertaining to the Fraze; Heavy lifting moving and standing for long periods of time; Must be able to work at times in high volume high activity/noise areas and/or inclement weather; Hours vary depending on event schedule and may go past midnight on major show nights; Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must excel in customer service. Must be self-motivated and have an enthusiastic attitude along with tact and diplomacy. Must be able to work with large amounts of cash accurately. Must be able to work on multiple tasks at one time with minimal direction. High school degree required. Previous ticket-selling experience preferred. Cash handling experience required. Compensation: Pay range $10. 95 - $12. 30 per hour. Entry rate is contingent upon candidate's related skills knowledge and abilities. These seasonal positions work up to 40 hours per week for no more than 6 consecutive months. Facility Manager DEPARTMENT: Parks & Recreation The Parks & Recreation Facility Manager (Part-Time) is responsible for overseeing the operations, maintenance of community recreation facilities. This role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patrons, staff, and community programs. The position involves light physical labor to support facility setup, maintenance, and overall functionality. Key Responsibilities: * Perform light physical labor including lifting tables/chairs, moving equipment and setting up rooms. * Clean up spills, restock supplies, and change trash as needed to maintain a clean facility * Open, close, and secure the facility according to established procedures. * Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety of all recreational areas. * Enforce rules and regulations to ensure public safety and appropriate use of spaces. * Monitor inventory of supplies. The Summer/Fall School Program Seasonal Outdoor Recreation Specialist supports the efforts of Outdoor Experiences staff and mission by leading and assisting with the planning, implementation, evaluation, and instruction of outdoor recreational activities to enhance the appreciation of nature and support health and wellness initiatives for youth in the city of Cleveland. This is a short-term, entry-level opportunity designed to help candidates develop professional skills in the field of Outdoor Experiences. Provides outdoor recreation and/or educational programs that serve to enhance Cleveland Metroparks conservation, education and outdoor recreation mission and to promote environmental education and stewardship. Plans and presents quality outdoor recreation and/or environmental education programs within the park district and at off-site locations. Establishes program goals and objectives in cooperation with Manager. Participates in special events or projects as assigned. Assists in evaluating programs, offers recommendations for improvement and actively participates in revision of programs. Demonstrates organizational skills including verbal communication, problem solving, and conflict management. Drives Park District vehicles to transport equipment and/or program participants as required. Assists in maintaining equipment and program materials. Inspects and performs light maintenance. Regular and predictable attendance is expected and required. Examples of Duties (Illustrative Only): Greets guests entering the facility scans tickets and provides wristbands; Guides guests to correct seating locations; Helps ensure orderly flow of guests in and out of designated entrance and exit areas throughout the facility during events; Provides polite professional assistance to the general public and all persons associated with the events; Helps with venue cleaning set up and tear down of park gates tents tables and seating areas park ropes and directional signage; Heavy lifting moving and standing for long periods of time; Must be able to work at times in high volume high activity and noise areas and/or inclement weather; Hours vary depending on the event schedule and may go past midnight on major show nights; Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have knowledge of the operations and maintenance of the Fraze Pavilion including policies and procedures. Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with team members and the general public. Capable of exercising good judgment and functioning within broad guidelines with minimal direction. Ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility while performing tasks whether specifically assigned or otherwise. Ability to complete multiple tasks in a short period of time.
