Pro deals. Like minded customers and coworkers.
Co workers and customers.
Give lots of pay and promotions to gays at expense of straights.
Stick to business and treat ‘everyone’ equally regardless of what they do with their genetalia. Go back to hiring people based on experience instead of their sex life.

Okay
Way overdone. Not one white male in the San Antonio store management out of 14. Only three males.
Living the outdoor experience.
Wonderful people and leadership, and wonderful mission
Low pay
Crazy pro deals 75% of most retail in season trends

I went in with the thought of a normal conversation to know more about the company and how I can apply my specialist skills of analytics and data engineering to align them to their core mission

Diverse and equal opportunity employer
The people and the mission. I work with a talented group of 6 business specialists to plan, forecast and analyze a core division within the company designated towards reengagement and retention of customer

Too corporate. They say it's a coop, but its run like a corporation. I feel overworked and undervalued. I don't feel like my voice is heard. Too much hypocrisy and not enough work-life balance is respected.

The benefits are fantastic. Yes, they are great for someone who works in retail, but, these benefits would be fantastic for any employee in any industry. The corporate culture is vibrant and welcoming. Employees (even part-time employees) are eligible for benefits like paid vacation and sick days, 401(k) with a company contribution and bonuses for all employees. REI is an employer who lives its values and I am proud to be a part of the team.
I do wish that base pay was higher. I feel as though I am slightly underpaid but I see it more often with newer employees. The starting rate is a bit low and that makes it difficult for the company to hold onto talent, particularly when it can be difficult for employees to work enough hours during slower times in the year.
My favorite benefit/perk is actually the team I work with. My co-workers are the best!
