Level Descriptor This is the leadership level where the incumbent organizes, supervises and administers the Recreational Therapy Department, including program staffing and facilities management in a major facility. Education and Experience Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a master's degree in recreational therapy, outdoor recreation or physical education and two years experience in recreational therapy; or a bachelor's degree in recreational therapy, outdoor recreation or physical education and three years experience in recreational therapy; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ## Note: Persons eligible to sit for the national exam provided by the NCTRC may apply and be selected, but must obtain certification within the six-month probationary period. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of the principles, techniques and equipment used in recreational therapy programs; of outdoor adventure/wilderness recreational activities; of the goals of recreational therapy; of the interrelationships between it and other treatment programs; of the causes of abnormal behavior and behavior modification techniques; of supervisory techniques; and of recreational therapy budgets. QUALIFICATIONS Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy or a related field with concentration in Recreational Therapy. . Experience: 1 year of clinical experience in Behavioral Health preferred. 1 year experience of mental health/substance abuse background with a working knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and therapeutic interventions with the mental health/substance abuse population preferred.     Job DescriptionJob Posting: Recreation Therapist (CTRS) Therapeutic Consultation (VA DD Waiver) Community Health and Wellness (CHAW) seeks a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) to provide Therapeutic Consultation under Virginias Developmental Disabilities Waivers (FIS/CL). TC is a consultative service: assess needs, create a written TC support plan, train and coach families/caregivers/DSPs, and monitor outcomes. This role does not provide ongoing direct therapy. Responsibilities Conduct recreation-based assessments and observations. Develop written TC support plans with strategies/adaptations. Demonstrate interventions and train families, caregivers, DSPs. Participate in annual ISP meetings and team reviews. Complete Medicaid-compliant documentation (notes, reviews, training logs, summaries). Qualifications Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS NCTRC). Experience with individuals with ID/DD. Schedule & Modality Unit = 1 hour; in-person or HIPAA-compliant teleconsultation. Frequency determined by assessed need and ISP authorization.

It fuels our passion and drives every decision we make. **Job Posting Title** Medication Therapy Management Technician - Remote **Job Description** Evaluates and authorizes approval of prior authorization pharmacy requests from prescribers received by telephone and/or facsimile using client clinical criteria. **Responsibilities** + Determines appropriateness for medications. Communicates decision to physicians, physician`s office staff, medical management staff and/or pharmacists. Researches, resolves and documents prior authorization outcomes in pharmacy system. + Communicates selected prior authorization criteria, pharmacy benefit coverage and formulary alternatives to physicians, physician`s office staff, medical management staff and/or pharmacists. + Escalates requests to Pharmacist when request requires extensive clinical review or denial. + Monitors telephone system to ensure adequate staffing to maintain client services levels. + Assesses training needs within the team. Serves as a training resource, mentor and coach to others.
