RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Healthcare Recruiter at MDstaffers, you will source and recruit physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants for temporary placement (
locum tenens
). With access to our robust database and marketing tools, you will proactively contact candidates via telephone, text message, email, and social media.
Exceed individual daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics in order to consistently grow recruiting pipeline (high-volume outbound contact/follow-up)
Exceed sales production standards/quotas; work hard to meet and exceed sales production goals
Serve as an ambassador for MDstaffers with clinicians, providing exceptional consultative service that reflects positively on the organization
Conduct thorough vetting and qualification of prospective candidates.
Coordinate with the client services department to present candidates, schedule interviews, and negotiate offers.
Ensure accurate and timely handling of assignment/placement-related responsibilities such as: travel/lodging, credentialing, reimbursement requests, timecards, payroll, etc.
Become an expert in healthcare staffing through active participation in MDstaffers Institute of Training (MIT) and self-study.

Job Description

The Opportunity
Generate and develop leads through the coordination of advertisements, cold calling, referrals, Internet sources, residency programs, and conventions.
Initiate contact and timely follow-up with prospective Emergency Medicine physicians and Advanced Provider candidates. Document all actions in database accordingly.
Develop comprehensive recruiting plans for specific vacancies.
Conduct preliminary phone screens, providing site and other relevant information on open positions to qualified physician and advanced provider applicants as well as provide the candidates with an overview of Vituity.
Evaluate candidates for positions and organizational match.
Work with candidates and Medical Directors to coordinate phone interviews and/or site interviews.
Conduct follow-up regarding interviews with all applicants on a timely basis.
Discuss the hiring process with new hires during the contracting phase.
Conduct verbal reference checks and enter the information into appropriate forms to share with the Medical Director.
Facilitate identifying appropriate references for written reference checks.
Maintain and update the candidate records in Taleo. Utilize the systems to obtain reports, searches, and listings.
Develop strong relationships and communicate regularly with Medical Directors, Regional Directors and/or Vice Presidents, Lead Advanced Providers and/or Regional Advanced Providers.
Conduct follow up/touch base calls on all new hires after 30/60/90 days to gauge first impressions of the site they work at and Vituity, to enhance retention efforts.
Maintain practice profiles with current site information, credentials requirements and pay information on each site in the region.
Maintain regular contact with new hires until the effective start date and beyond for retention purposes.
Act as a consultant to the site to provide recommendations regarding recruiting and interviewing efforts.
Understanding of and willingness to recruit for all other practice lines including Hospital Medicine, Outpatient Medicine, Psychiatry, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Tele-Medicine positions when requested.
Management of, and demonstrated success, recruiting for one (1) or more hard to recruit sites.
Provide full cycle recruiting for the Emergency Medicine line of business.
Attend all relevant meetings involved with Physician and Advanced Provider issues.
Establish ongoing relationships with residency programs and attend residency dinners as needed.

Development of recruiting related initiatives that, in line the with Balanced Score Card, advance the effectiveness of the Core Recruiting function.
Work in conjunction with Business Development, Practice Management, Partnership Affairs, HR, and other departments to share market intelligence (leads) and best practices in recruiting.
Provide salary and market assessments to the growth team for potential contracts and RFPs through professional network and cold calls to certain hospitals (no internet research).
Assist in the development/contact of outreach to Family Practice/Internal Medicine/Critical Care/Pulmonology and other Hospitalist related programs when requested; Assist in the development/contact to Anesthesia related programs when requested; Assist in the development/contact to Psychiatry and Neurology related programs when requested.
Prepare and process PA/NP offer letter and hire documents.
Communicate relevant information and updates to credentialing and provider enrollment.
Review status of application process, maintain as necessary and stay in regular contact with applicant(s).

Required Experience and Competencies

Qualifications

At least 2 years of Physician Recruitment work experience (radiologist recruitment experience is a plus).
Bachelor's Degree; an Associate's Degree in human resources with an HR certificate can be used in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Working knowledge of Federal and California State labor laws.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office to create employment flyers/advertisements, excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and other related items.
A high level of motivation, the ability to efficiently work with little supervision, effective multi-tasking skills, the ability to prioritize, and resourcefulness.
Ability and willingness to travel to our California locations as needed (travel approximately 10% of the time).

Job DescriptionDescriptionWe are a Medical Service Provider based out of Lodi. We are open for business, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. The dispatch position is rotated between our other dispatchers so that no one works too many consecutive days during the week (Days vary with 2-3 weekends required per month). Our dispatchers take intake calls, receiving facility and patient details and then send out the appropriate nurse to service those facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Answer calls and intake patient information
Follow strict HIPAA guidelines
Retrieve information regarding facility and service needed
Send calls out to the appropriate nurse.
Track ETA's, actual time or arrival, and completion of service of nurses in the field
Office duties such as filing, faxing, scanning etc
