CorrHealth is hiring a dynamic Nurse Talent Scout (Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse) to help shape the future of correctional healthcare. This hybrid role blends clinical expertise with strategic recruiting, focusing on sourcing top nursing talent from veteran organizations, higher education, and professional networks for both permanent and temporary roles. This position represents CorrHealth at events, build trusted relationships, and champion the professional, personal, and financial benefits of joining our mission-driven team. To stay clinically grounded, you'll work one week per month in a CorrHealth facility. Essential Duties
✓ Proactively source and recruit RNs, LVNs, and other clinical staff through direct outreach, referrals, digital platforms, and professional networking
✓ Build relationships with nursing schools, veteran organizations, alumni groups, and healthcare associations to cultivate talent pipelines
✓ Represent CorrHealth at recruitment events, campus presentations, job fairs, mixers, and community forums
✓ Assess clinical credentials, experience, and cultural fit
✓ Educate candidates about careers in correctional healthcare and CorrHealth's mission, culture, and values
✓ Partner with recruiter to assist with interviews, gather feedback, and recruiting processes
✓ Maintain detailed contact/candidate records using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or CRMs
✓ Analyze market trends and adjust outreach strategies to meet evolving recruitment needs
✓ Serve one week per month in a CorrHealth facility in a clinical role (assigned by supervisor) to maintain operational understanding and credibility
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
✓ Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse license (required)
✓ 3+ years of experience in healthcare recruitment, nurse headhunting, or clinical staffing (preferred)
✓ Experience in correctional healthcare is a plus
✓ Deep understanding of nursing roles, licensure, and healthcare environments
✓ Exceptional communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
✓ Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software tools
✓ Ability to travel as needed for outreach and facility work
✓ Results-oriented and competitive; motivated to exceed hiring goals

This position routinely requires (but is not limited to) the following:

Work Environment
Work is performed inside a correctional facility. Employees are exposed to some level of risk and/or harm by inmates including exposure to blood borne pathogens. Employee is expected to work in accordance with all security rules and regulations to minimize the risk of danger and/or harm to themselves or other employees.
