PURPOSE
This position is responsible for coordinating recruitment activities and application processing for all positions within the district comprised of approximately 13,000 applications annually.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
The primary function of this position is to manage and keep current the districts job postings.
This position will audit all of the districts job descriptions, to ensure they are current and accurate.
Responsible for assisting Recruitment Specialist in planning recruiting functions including online/social media recruiting, newspaper advertisements and job fairs.
Manage TalentEd applicant tracking system including working with applicants and hiring supervisors on system functionality and district procedures.
Assist applicant's in-person and via phone on the application process, answer questions regarding job postings and employment opportunities.
Review applicant materials and provide hiring supervisors with pools of qualified applicants.
Create training and resource materials to ensure consistent and efficient use of the system. Provide individual training on a regular basis.

This role will assist with functions such as staffing, employee onboarding and retention. Our recruiter is front-line support for prospects and new hires.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or significant experience in human resources, communications or a related field.
Experience in recruitment roles preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with the self-motivation to regularly follow up with hiring managers.
Aptitude for problem-solving and learning HR procedures and policies quickly.
Ability to present solutions, overcome obstacles, and develop new ideas and strategies for recruitment.

Support hiring managers in the decision-making process by providing market insights and salary data.
Utilize various recruitment tools and techniques to source candidates, including social media, job boards, and industry events.
Travel as needed to other market locations in Jefferson City and Springfield, Missouri
Travel as needed to external recruiting events such as career fairs, mock interviews, etc.
Collect and verify candidate credentials throughout the hiring process.

QUALIFICATIONS
