When partnering with the hiring manager, the sales recruiter will serve as a primary source of recruitment advice, consultation and education on best practices to fill roles in the most efficient and effective way possible.
The function of this role is to identify qualified candidates and manage the process from position opening through offer acceptance and onboarding. This person will develop and execute progressive integrated recruitment solutions using multiple avenues including direct sourcing, social networking, industry networking, employee referrals, Internet sourcing, minority and trade job fairs, targeted advertising, college and community outreach. We are seeking a Corporate Recruiter with demonstrated success leading full-cycle recruiting for corporate, operational, and commercial functions, including LTL transportation and Sales roles. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers, advising on talent strategy and proactively building strong, diverse candidate pipelines.
This position is on-site in Downers Grove, Illinois, and is ideal for a recruiter who is execution-focused, data-driven, and comfortable supporting a fast-paced, results-oriented organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruiting
* Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for assigned roles, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination.
* Support recruiting for LTL transportation roles, including Sales, Operations, and Corporate positions.
* Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, performance expectations, and hiring timelines.
Sourcing & Talent Pipelines
* Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting tools.
* Build and maintain pipelines for Sales and LTL-related talent, including account executives, sales leadership, and operational support roles.
* Provide market insights related to talent availability, compensation, and competitive hiring trends.
Recruiting Systems & Data
* Manage requisitions and candidate workflows in Workday Recruiting.
* Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and data integrity within the ATS.
* Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring volume.
Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience
* Deliver a professional, consistent, and timely experience for candidates and hiring managers.
* Coordinate interviews, manage feedback, and guide selection decisions.
* Advise hiring managers on recruiting best practices and effective interview techniques.
Compliance & Process Improvement
* Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws and internal policies.
* Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, tools, and hiring outcomes.
* Support employer branding and recruitment initiatives as needed.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
* Hands-on experience with Workday Recruiting.
* Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
* Experience recruiting for LTL transportation roles and Sales positions.
* Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.
* Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
* Ability to work on-site in Downers Grove, IL.
