    Full-time Description The Chesapeake Bay Foundation seeks a Recruitment Coordinator in the People and Culture Department to be based one of CBF's offices located in Annapolis, MD, Harrisburg, PA, Virginia Beach, VA, or Richmond, VA. THE CHESAPEAKE BAY FOUNDATION Established in 1966, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is the largest regional nonprofit conservation organization dedicated to saving the Chesapeake Bay, its rivers and streams, and the wildlife that call it home through education, advocacy, litigation, and restoration. Since 2010, CBF has engaged in a focused effort to defend and implement the Chesapeake Clean Water Blueprint, a binding federal and state collaborative agreement aimed at reducing pollution to the science-based, legally-affirmed levels established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Blueprint is expected to be fully implemented by 2025. If the states and the federal government achieve Blueprint goals, the Bay will finally after decades of failed efforts be removed from the Clean Water Act s impaired waters list. Successfully implementing the Blueprint depends on a well-informed, engaged, active, and diverse constituency of members, advocates, and volunteers who speak up and take action to save the Bay. CBF has a staff of approximately 230 employees working in offices in Annapolis, Maryland; Richmond and Virginia Beach, Virginia; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; and Washington, D.C. as well as 14 field education program locations. Our staff and volunteer corps work throughout the region educating students and adults, advocating for clean water policies, restoring waterways, and litigating when necessary. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION People & Culture The People & Culture Department's mission is to empower CBF staff to thrive in the organization. CONTEXT OF THE POSITION The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for the full-life cycle CBF recruitment and onboarding process including interviewing & hiring policies, procedures and protocols. Ensures that internal employment procedures are properly maintained and communicated to staff. Position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization, is sensitive to employee goodwill and the business needs of the organization and is a critical thinker in order to identify and implement successful recruitment strategies specific to each open position. Requirements Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities for departments and positions. Assist supervisors with recruitment request approvals and processes Post job openings internally and externally, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards. Schedule and manage interviews, including coordinating interview panels, logistics, and candidate communication. Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience. Identify traditional and non-traditional recruitment methods to source and attract quality candidates in line with budgets. Prepare and distribute offer letters and support pre-employment processes such as background checks and employment verification. Track recruitment metrics and maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Works to understand all parts of the Applicant Tracking System and suggest improvements and upgrades to processes to make recruitment more efficient. Update the recruitment and hiring pages of the CBF internal internet site. Ensure all staff hiring and personnel paperwork is processed timely and accurately in conjunction with the bi-weekly payroll process. Train and educate managers on CBF s internal recruitment procedures & interviewing techniques with the goal of reducing turnover and managing efficiencies. Maintain electronic personnel files, internal systems for tracking positions, diversity metrics, new hires, and separation dates. Assist in keeping CBF s diversity goals at the forefront of CBF s recruitment process. CBF Internship Program Initiate and maintain relationships with colleges and universities to identify opportunities for employer partnerships and job fairs, to increase CBF s visibility to potential intern candidates. Place emphasis on developing and maintaining relationships with HBCU s and explores new ways to connect with them. Assist supervisors with identifying internship opportunities, hiring paperwork, postings, resume review, interviews, and onboarding interns. Conduct a New Intern Orientation and mid & end of internship check-ins. People Operations Maintain HR Social Media sites (Facebook & LinkedIn) and seek ways to better engage to public on future job opportunities. Oversee annual longevity awards, pulling reports and reviewing boomerang tracking. Prepare bonuses and seagull pins for award participants. Provide support as needed for People and Culture programs and initiatives. PREFERRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS 1-3 years of experience in an HR /Recruiter role. Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, HRIS and Payroll systems. Experience with Paylocity Recruiting and Onboarding a plus but not a requirement. Ability to complete full life cycle recruitment activities. Knowledge and understanding of recruitment and candidate metrics and assessment tools. Possess an understanding of State and Federal laws regarding employment practices. Ability to be trusted with sensitive and highly confidential information. Ability to have reliable transportation to travel to other CBF locations or work-related items as needed. Salary Description $50,000 - $55,000

Summary: ATS is seeking Level II VT/MT Technicians for shipyard contract assignment to support our Chesapeake, VA office. Part-time (contract assignment) to start. Full time eligible after six months of continuous work with no at-fault safety or disciplinary issues. Competitive pay and per diem offered during initial part time (contract assignment) phase expected to last six months. Responsibilities/Duties: Level II VT/MT Technicians: * Perform VT and MT examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications. * Set up and utilize NDT Testing Equipment. * Operate handheld grinder to remove detected discontinuities. * Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and exercise assigned responsibility for OJT and guidance of trainees * Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities in order to meet customer expectations. * Be able to prepare written instructions and to organize and report the results of examinations. * Work independently and support team members. * Perform other job related tasks as needed and assigned by supervisors. * Actively participate in ATS and Client Safety Programs.
