Ultimately, the responsibility of this role is to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. * Manage the recruitment cycle including the creation of search strategies, sourcing of candidates, pre-screening, interviewing and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, reference checks and at times negotiating offers; * Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications; * Prepare, post and manage roles in our applicant tracking system and job boards; * Be the subject matter expert who continually demonstrates creative sourcing strategies; * Identify and assess a diverse candidate pool for each of your open positions through multiple sources including employee referrals, databases, social media sites, alumni's and other avenues; * Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills and experience; * Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices; * Provide regular update reports to hiring managers and HR Business Partners; * Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process; create and ensure a positive candidate experience(for both selected and non-selected candidates) throughout the entire recruiting process; * Promote our core values as well as the company's reputation as a "best place to work". * Talent Acquisition Specialist Qualifications: * * 2+ years of proven work experience as a recruiter in the AEC industry (either in-house or agency); * BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience strongly preferred * Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews; * Hands on experience with various recruitment processes (sourcing, phone interviewing, reference check etc.); * Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management Systems (CRMs); * 2+ years of experience tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and using data to improve recruitment and hiring processes; * Excellent interpersonal skills; with specific experience in building strong business relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers; * Strong written/verbal communication and negotiation skills and the ability to make cold calls to prospective candidates; * Experience working well with regionally dispersed teams as well as have the ability to work independently; * Skilled in identifying and hiring talent within the construction/engineering industry through relationships in sourcing tools (ex. Responsibilities: Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiting Leads to gain a comprehensive understanding of TechOp's hiring needs for each position Meet competitive hiring goals and expectations Develop s Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up Continuously partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone and/or in-person), and administers appropriate assessments, reference checking, makes recommendations for hire (or no hire) Draft and delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings Uses online resources to source and identify potential candidates that meet specific requirements and experience Manages internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with Hiring Managers, transfer offer letter/new hire documents, transfer of security documents, etc. Follows up with candidates and Hiring Managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.) Ensures compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations Manages current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy Standardizes position descriptions for various positions/portfolios Other duties, as assigned Requirements: BA/BS + 2-3 years of experience in recruiting required Experience in federal contracting recruiting highly desired Working knowledge of the recruiting life cycle Experience working in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills Experience handling multiple positions/portfolios Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet searches Working knowledge of using an Applicant Tracking System Experience working with job board databases to find qualified candidates, HR software, databases, and management systems Proven experience conducting various types of interviews Desired Qualifications: Experience working or supporting a federal government contracting company Experience utilizing and navigating online recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, and Handshake Experience developing recruiting strategy Experience ensuring position descriptions are posted to all state/diversity job boards Experience recruiting for Service Contract Act (SCA) covered positions Working knowledge of SCA wage determinations, labor categories, and compliance considerations Familiarity with government contract staffing requirements, including clearance requirements, onboarding timelines, and flow-down obligations TechOp Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
