This is a temporary part-time, grant funded position that will begin immediately. Up to 20 hours per week for 48 weeks per year. Evening and/or weekends as needed. This position is contingent upon grant funds and will exist as long as grant funds are available to support this position. Reporting to the Coordinator of EMS and AHA Training Programs, the EMS Academy Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and supporting Butler County residents for the Grant Funded EMS Academy cohort. The EMS Academy Recruiter will assist with selection, facilitation and processing of the students accepted in the cohort. This position will have general outreach and communications responsibilities with various community support organizations for the betterment of the initiative and the communities of Butler County. Associate Degree or equivalent work experience required. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution preferred. Active or recent public safety experience in the last five years required. EMT or higher certification preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Hourly rate will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
