Job Summary

Required Qualifications:

Position Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will assist in researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates, with a focus on retail positions. This role will ensure a seamless experience for clients, candidates, and team members throughout all stages of the recruiting process and onboarding.
Salary: $26.54 - $28.85 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Talent Acquisition Specialist responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:
Full-Cycle Recruitment
Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Assist the hiring manager in all aspects of recruiting primarily for retail positions
Responsible for full cycle recruitment efforts for all assigned positions: initial sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks to offer acceptance, on-boarding
Evaluates applicants, conduct initial prescreening/phone screens, and schedules interviews with hiring managers
Enter, track and update all candidate correspondence in ATS to ensure accurate reporting and policy compliance
Establish and maintain recruitment metrics
Initiate, review, and complete background checks
Represents GORR at career fairs, community events, and recruitment initiatives
Maintains basic knowledge of employment requirements and government reporting regulations affecting hiring functions and maintains appropriate record keeping
New Hire Onboarding:
Facilitate employee onboarding process and perform all aspects of moving new hires, volunteers, and program participants into HRIS
Responsible for compliance and record keeping of all onboarding requirements for new hires, volunteers, and program participants
Oversee and manage I-9 database to ensure accuracy and updated information for all employees - Conduct regular audits of the I-9 database to identify and rectify errors and discrepancies.
Ensure training for hiring managers on proper completion and retention of I-9 forms.
Talent Acquisition and Human Resource Administration
Monitor all incoming retail requisitions - review/edit before making active and posting to career site
Process employee, participant, and volunteer information, such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers
Demonstrated ability to build strong professional relationships through collaboration and establishing oneself as a trusted business partner interdepartmentally and externally.
Maintain understanding of company hiring policies and procedures to administer, discuss, resolve, and explain them to staff and other constituencies
