· Maintain an effective working relationship with Human Resources and Managerial counterparts to ensure appropriate staffing service levels are met through the creation of area staffing plans

Role:

Due to the increased need for finding highly qualified staff, APV is immediately looking to add a Senior Recruiter to help capture the needed talent for our success. Duties:

  • Experience in Full cycle recruitment in federal contracting space.
  • Ability to understand the need for positions as per Govt RFP and help create Job descriptions to fill roles.
  • Partners with the hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone, and arrange virtual meetings and in-person interviews with hiring manager), administer appropriate assessments, and makes recommendations for hire (or not hire).
  • Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within the local, State, and Federal Government territories in the United States (USA).
  • Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as Job boards, Referrals, career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc.
  • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates and use social media such as Linkedin to generate interest in APV openings.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the recruitment effort process statuses.
  • Coordinates the process of receiving the accurate documents needed from candidates for proposal submission
  • Communicates important employment information to spark and maintain the interests of prospective candidates (i.e., benefits, compensation, etc.)
  • Track metrics, recruitment reports, and statistical data
  • Maintains records of past, present, and future candidates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • BS in Human Resource Management Marketing, Marketing, or related field.
