This position is at our Recycle Facility. The position is for B Crew which is 6:45am to 7:00pm on our 2/2/3 schedule, which includes working every other weekend. Contribute to accident-free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations. Ensure operational goals are met each shift. Start, operate, maintain and shut down equipment. Monitor performance of equipment and ensure that equipment operates to specifications. Perform lockout/tagout process prior to working on equipment. Perform preventive maintenance such as changing filters, cleaning blades, checking gaps, changing belts, air emission testing and more. Diagnose process and equipment defects, make minor repairs, document work orders for other repairs and assist Maintenance personnel as needed. Maintain knowledge and adherence to the Bills of Process (BOP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Critical to Quality (CTQ) standards. Complete daily Quality Check paperwork as scheduled. Responsible for detailed and accurate completion of Line Status Report, Scorecards, and Downtown Escalation Reports. Operate in a manner that provides value to the team. Complete daily duties in accordance with workplace organization and efficiency methodologies, such as TPM and 6S. Acts as primary contact with Technician for issues/projects Acts as primary contact with Quality team for product quality issues Acts as primary contact with Maintenance Technician for improvements and work order completion Executes minor maintenance and assists Maintenance Technician if necessary Key contributor to line commissioning after maintenance/process events Operates in a manner that provides value to the team Fills in when supervisor is not present on shift. Performs job and duties of supervisor, when needed Guides and mentors other techs on shift to perform job successfully Qualifications, Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required Demonstrated ability to work within company values 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment Forklift Certification - either current or in prior work experience Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally Strong attention to detail Strong reading, mathematical and comprehension skills Good communication skills Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment Computer skills preferred, to include; basic input of information into ERP system on receiving and shipping process Ability to share responsibility and accountability Work schedule flexibility to accommodate needs of the business

Sorter Laborers work as quality control line workers by hand sorting recyclable materials and trash from the recycling stream. Sorters are responsible to ensure unacceptable materials are removed from recycling so that recyclable materials are acceptable for sale to mills or brokers. Sorter Laborers may be exposed to unpleasant odors and sights and weather elements. The hours and physical demand may vary by location. Responsibilities of Position: * Performs duties in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies. * Ensures proper PPE is utilized, as well as compliance with Lock Out Tag Out procedures are adhered to consistently. * Inspects materials and sorts items or materials into designated areas according to type, size, condition, color, or paper grade. * Pulls contaminants out of paper or off of floor. * Performs cleaning duties related to plant equipment and general housekeeping. * Reports system problems immediately to management. * Maintains a clean and orderly work area and surrounding area. * Dumps boxes and containers of material into designated area(s). * Maintains an excellent attendance record and an excellent safety and work quality record. * Performs other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities Need for Position: * Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing. reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying and climbing). * Exhibit the ability to distinguish between various recyclable materials. * Self-starter, aggressive work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision. * Safety conscious. * Good verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with other personnel and management. * Ability to work in various conditions with exposure to weather elements. * Must be flexible to work any shift and/or to adjust shift when necessary. Additional Working Conditions/Aspects: * Exposure to residential and commercial waste. * Ability to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as needed. * Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays. * Legally eligible to work in the United States. * Must have a Valid driver's license. * Must successfully complete pre-employment testing. * Must be able to read and speak the English language.
