Assists in further development of diabetes care center. Provides educational interventions that utilize primarily interactive, collaborative, skill-based training methods and maximizes the use of interactive training methods.
* Reinforces diabetes education and instruction to staff nurses and support staff. Develops and distributes educational materials to community. Develops a Plan of Care that will include, but is not limited to, self-care skills, disease process, medication, diet, activity, home safety management and emergency procedures. Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to outpatients with diagnoses other than diabetes.
* Conducts a follow-up assessment upon completion of the Diabetes Self-management Training, using program outcome measures. Contributes to, and participates in, a continuous quality improvement process regarding the Diabetes Self-management Program to measure, to identify, and address opportunities for improvement. Provides documentation to physicians on patient progress.
* Collects and analyses specific client data and outcomes. Assists in the development and implementation of educational and dietetic counseling interventions based on client-specific needs.

General Compensation Disclosure
The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below. This position is eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay. The variable compensation estimated annual range is $10,000 - $20,000 or more.
