In this role, you will work closely with audio researchers, model builders, evaluation engineers, and product managers to evaluate the latest audio & video model developments by leveraging both human perceptual experiments and automated metrics. You will design and implement evaluation methodologies, metrics, and user studies for audio product features. You will prepare and present reports and findings to cross-functional teams and to product leadership. You will contribute to strategic product decisions.
An ideal candidate has a Masters, PhD, or Postdoctoral experience in cognitive science, neuroscience, psychology, HCI, or related computer science disciplines, with a specific focus on audio (speech, music, SFX). Masters-level candidates will be expected to have multiple years of additional relevant industry experience.
The candidate will be expected to independently design and run evaluation studies with human participants for each audio domain: speech, music, and SFX, so expertise in at least one, and familiarity with the others, will be required.
