Red Jacket Resorts company history timeline
Development began on Red Jacket Beach Resort on South Shore Drive in South Yarmouth in 1968, followed by the acquisitions of Blue Water Resort, Riviera Beach Resort and Green Harbor Resort, also in Yarmouth.
The Davenport family acquired the former Birchmont Inn in North Conway, New Hampshire and began construction of the Red Jacket Mountain View Motor Inn in 1970.
The resort added Kahuna Laguna Indoor Water Park as a year-round oasis for its guests in 2008.
In the spring and summer of 2019, all 150 rooms at the resort were renovated to reflect the resort’s location in the mountains and its relaxing atmosphere.
