We are looking for a self-motivated, highly experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure and Security Architect to work on enterprise-level Azure Infrastructure projects, designing and deploying cloud environments for hosting business application services. This is someone with deep experience in leading large enterprise teams for Cloud Infrastructure builds. This leader must also align with Azure Security standards. In addition, the qualified candidate will have experience in customer-facing consulting and leading teams of Architects in cloud solutions development and delivery. The qualified candidate is expected to possess deep Azure cloud solution engineering skills, as well as architecture expertise, and be excellent with customer relations. Responsibilities: Lead, design, and build Azure Landing Zone, including global networking, hybrid connectivity, and AI-ready infrastructure. Provide a Consult level of acumen based on results driven by understanding customer culture, personality, and conflict resolution. Oversee and troubleshoot implementation, mentor engineers, and ensure the solution meets design and security standards. Create secure cloud architecture for sensitive data using Azure Policies, Private Link, and Microsoft Defender tools. Set up identity federation with Entra ID, Okta, and SailPoint, including SSO and RBAC for secure access. Lead Infrastructure as Code automation using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to deploy and manage cloud resources. Guide engineering teams, design workshops, and coordinate with IT and security teams. Deliver clear documentation and lead environment reviews and knowledge transfer sessions. Stay current on Azure innovations and advise on optimization and future improvements. Strong hands-on experience with Azure services across compute, networking, storage, databases, and disaster recovery. Deep knowledge of Azure security and identity tools like Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Okta, and SailPoint. Skilled in setting up cloud governance using Azure Policies, tagging standards, and monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub. Familiar with Azure AI and data services including Machine Learning, OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Synapse, Data Factory, and Data Lake. Able to define cloud architecture strategy and present solutions to technical and business leaders. Strong problem-solving skills across cloud infrastructure, security, and identity. Continuously learning and staying updated on Azure features and best practices. Qualifications: 2+ years of Direct Consulting company experience managing multiple customers across multiple projects at the same time. At least 4 Microsoft Azure-related certificates 9+ years of overall industry experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems (related field) or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience with demonstrated Cloud architecture projects and deployments. 7+ years of experience with Cloud solutions, platforms and technologies. 3+ years of experience across the business development life-cycle (i.e. Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Pricing and Proposal Development).
