WORK ENVIRONMENT
Nurse Corps Officers may serve at any one of more than 250 Navy and medical facilities around the globe, from Hawaii to Japan, Germany to Guam and Washington, D.C., to Washington state. Under the direction of the Division Dean, the Associate Dean of Health Sciences will exercise innovative leadership in administering programs and courses offered in the Health Sciences division. Education Required:
* A master's or higher degree from an accredited college or university which includes course work in nursing education, or nursing administration;

* Two (2) years of experience teaching in pre- or post-licensure registered nursing programs; and one (1) year of continuous, full-time (or its equivalent) experience with direct patient care as a registered nurse;
OR
Equivalent experience and/or education as certified by the Board of Registered Nursing.
* Possession of a clear and active license to practice as a registered nurse in California.
